i tried to look for MAC OSX-ish XP themes allover the corners and alleys of the net, but to my disappointment. whenever i found one, the site prompts me to download and install a desktop manager. did you do this too, sir?
anyways, a good job sir for bringing Naga into the wired world. :) i have just browsed your blog recently, and i find it informative. like you, I am Nagueno by heart (but Camaligueno by laws, hehe). I am taking up Geography in Diliman, and likewise thinking of having a master's degree on urban planning.
Yup, I know how to fold maps, but i still dont know how to change desktop themes. Hehe.

In some cases we've been building tools that are specific to Linux for the desktop, and they only work on Linux, but I see two major projects that are wildly, wildly successful: Mozilla and OpenOffice, and those two programs are cross platform.
So if we're going to build new applications that require a large time investment, like say movie editing - today that doesn't matter for the enterprise desktop, but eventually it will when we get closer to consumers - you really need to have a cross-platform story.
