No, not yet. There is nothing on the horizon yet that approximates the likes of LEE KWAN YEW nor MAHATIR, both great leaders who brought their respective countries to wealth and prosperity and to the 21st century. Ironically, we were ahead of both countries during Liberation. It was just in 1965, that both countries started their rapid acceleration, leaving our country in the dust. Both leaders were not afraid to kick-ass ( no Leftists and Communist Parties for them), and they really imposed the death penalty. Both countries exemplifies the HARD STATE vs SOFT STATE ( e.g.The Philippines).
